Shad Shack is a luxurious, modern and tastefully decorated single story 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom holiday home in Ramsgate, right on the beach, with direct beach access via a beach gate and pathway. There are also 2 additional guest bedrooms off the house, with their own entrance and en-suite bathrooms, so in total the house can sleep 10 people, in 5 bedrooms with 4 1/2 bathrooms.
Off the front door, there are a few steps, and then the spacious open plan lounge and dining area welcomes you, which is fitted with stylish furniture as well as unlimited Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV for your entertainment.
A small desk is also provided in case you need to do some work or studying.
There is a large covered patio with outside furniture, a swimming pool and safety cover, plus an outside shower to wash off the sand when you come from the beach, a mere 30 steps away, via the beach gate, and down the pathway.
There is a built in braai and firepit for you to enjoy as well as a gas braai on the patio, with a pizza oven and paella grill, so you can play Master Chef while relaxing on holiday! Alternatively a Weber braai is also available, should you prefer to make use of it.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, including a dishwasher, stove, microwave and fridge, plus there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. An air fryer and icemaker is also provided for your use, with an additional fridge and a chest freezer provided for the fishermen.
The main bedroom is fitted with a queen bed, ceiling fan and an en-suite bathroom, with double basins, shower and toilet.
The second bedroom is also fitted with a queen bed and the third bedroom with two single beds, of which both are fitted with ceiling fans. These two bedrooms share a modern bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, toilet and basin, plus there is a separate guest toilet.
There is even provision made for the little ones, with a cot and a feeding chair provided, in case you will need it, to make your stay even more comfortable.
The two guest bedrooms off the house are ideal for teenagers or couples wanting a bit of privacy, both are fitted with a double bed, a ceiling fan and an en-suite bathroom, and each are equipped with a shower, basin and toilet. One of the guest bedrooms also has a coffee station, so you don’t have to go to the kitchen to make yourself a cuppa!
The house is fitted with an alarm system and a double automated garage, but it can fit only one vehicle, as the one side is fitted with a pool table and table tennis for your entertainment. However, there is sufficient parking on the driveway, behind the automated gate, for two to three extra vehicles.
The house has plumbed in water tanks as well as a solar system, so water and loadshedding are not your concern while on holiday here!
All linen is provided, just bring with your own bath and swimming towels.
Small pets are allowed with permission and shops and restaurants are within the immediate vicinity.
